Payments and Insurance
We make every effort to keep the cost of your medical care down. You can help by paying your copay or 20% of charges at each visit.
Our office personnel, free of charge, will file your pediatrician's hospital, emergency room, and office visit to your insurance company.
Please remember that insurance is considered a method of reimbursing the insured for fees paid to the doctor and is not a substitute for payment. Some companies pay fixed allowances for certain procedures and others pay a percentage of the charge. It is your responsibility to pay any deductible amount, coinsurance, or any other balance not paid for by your insurance company. We know questions can arise on insurance matters and these should be discussed with our insurance coordinator. We will be happy to help you receive maximum benefits; however, the agreement of the insurance company to pay for medical care is a contract between you and your insurance company. Unless prior arrangements have been made, payment for fees is due within 30 days of discharge or a 15% finance charge is accessed to your bill.
