I am a Registered Nurse, AA, BSN. For the past 11 years, I have been a pediatric nurse in the clinic setting. I worked at The Children’s Clinic from 1996 to 1999. I have been at Pediatrics Plus from 1999 to present. Recently, I just became lab director at the clinic as well. I am a graduate of Woonsocket High School, Dakota Wesleyan University, and South Dakota State University. I have been married to Bill Mathis for 26 years and we have four children, Andrea, Cami, Kyle, and Nolan. We live and farm northwest of Mount Vernon, SD. I am a member, director of religious ed, and religious ed teacher at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon. I am also the president of the Mt. Vernon Music Boosters and member of the Mt. Vernon PTC. My hobbies and interests are reading, shopping, spending time with family and friends, going to basketball and football games - Go Knights, Fillies, Mustangs, and Vikings!
